buchkogl

the buchkogel or wildoner berg is a 550m high elevation in southern styria. together with the wildoner schlossberg (450m) and the bockberg (449m), the buchkogel forms a distinctive, elongated mountain ridge that was known as hengist in the middle ages and is now usually called wildonerberg or simply buchkogel. the buchkogel and its immediate surroundings are worth seeing both archaeologically and geologically.
