green lake

the emerald-green water has a visibility of up to 50m. it is one of the most beautiful diving waters in europe. in spring and early summer, meltwater from the hochschwab seeps into the lake as underground ice water springs. in rainy years and harsh winters, the water level rises to 8-10m.
