the region and the romantic town of hallstatt were declared a unesco world heritage site in 1997. attractions for an unforgettable vacation include the landscape, lake hallstatt, the mountain world with the dachstein, and not least the town with its art monuments, museum and mine. all of this makes for an unforgettable vacation in the salzkammergut at any time of year!
