the pleschkogel is located about 15 kilometers northwest of graz, near the famous stift rein monastery. the entire area is a popular walking and hiking area for many people from graz. at the gasthaus pleschwirt at the top of the kogel, it is worth stopping in after an extended walk. the guesthouse has preserved its original character and offers good home cooking as a country inn.
