feistritztalbahn

the feistritztalbahn (weiz - anger - birkfeld) is one of those few railway lines that immediately transport you back to an earlier era, when life was more leisurely and peaceful. the feistritztalbahn is over 100 years old and was opened on december 15, 1911. it is, incidentally, the only local railway in austria that was built without state support.
